Day 26.

Day 26. 9/11/10. Patriot Day.

 

"If I could rewind, watch all my life just pass me by, I could see you. If I could rewind, I'd take back the lies and all of those times I hurt you..."

Nine years ago, terrorists flew planes into the World Trade Center and the Pentagon, killing thousands of innocent Americans. I remember that morning. I remember wondering why my mom was so upset. I was only seven... It makes me wonder what would drive someone to do something like that. Then again... I am so proud of all of the people who gave their lives, fighting for what is theirs, and ours. Fighting for the lives of so many people. Their service to our country is... I can't even imagine doing what they have done. I respect those people so much.
