Soooo, I've enjoyed reading about everyone else's Christmas. Now I guess it's about time I posted about mine. Well, on Sunday before Christmas we had our yearly Christmas with my mom's side of the family. We went to lunch at a small catering place in Turlock, called Netto's. The food was SOOOOOOO good. Afterwards we all went to our house, for dessert and our annual gift exchange. This year, we branched off a bit, and had a gift exchange for the adults, as well as the kids. It was a lot of fun.
Monday and Tuesday were full of last minute Christmas shopping and gift wrapping. I'm pretty sure everything was under the tree by Wednesday. On Wednesday, we opened presents around 1 o'clock. (We always do presents on Christmas Eve.) I got several really cute articles of clothing (including a SUPER cute coat), a pair of shoes, and The Man in the Iron Mask by Alexandre Dumas. We had our "big" traditional Christmas Eve dinner, which was pretty amazing. Later in the evening, we went to my mom's aunt's house for dessert, and hung out with my mom's family again.
On Christmas morning, we opened our stockings, which was fun. We cleaned a lot, and hung out. Around 5, we had some family over. That was fun. The girls (Paige, Kaitlyn, Becca, me and Kristine) all hung out in my room. Becca and I attempted some Christmas songs with our guitars, but ended dissatisfied. I now strongly believe that unless you are really good, Christmas songs sung in groups are much better sung a capella. :) Afterwards, we decided to make a movie, so we went downstairs to eat cheesecake and wait for "an epiffany...no, a plethora of epiffanies" (that's for you, Becca ;) ♥ Man, we are SO homeschooled...I love it!). Finally we decided on a depressing movie. It turned out to be quite morbid and incredibly disturbing, but it was absolutely hilarious to make. And I highly doubt you will ever see me so serious again! ;) I had to laugh about every other picture because it was so funny, trying to be depressed-looking. If you're like me, you'll be curious about our movie now, so here it is...
See, I told you it was morbid and disturbing. Anyway, it was a lot of fun to make. And the shoes are Becca's and mine. Mine are the plaid ones with the bows. Aren't they cute???? I got them for Christmas. I love them!!!! Anyways...that's what I've been up to lately. Tonight I'm going to Becca's house, cuz our dad's have a fight to watch on TV. That will be fun. I can't wait for tomorrow, 1, because I get to wear my new coat, and t-shirt. And, 2, because we get to go to Granny's for presents after church. I'm so excited! Gotta run...
